Things I Found on Good Ole YouTube

I heard about these videos in my art class. I just love that Dove is doing this. They have a campaign about creating awareness about the pressures of being beautiful today on women. I think it is so awful how many girls get so affected by this and resort to extreme measures.

I just think this video is funny :) It's a spoof off of a Mean Girls preview. It made me laugh, maybe it will make you laugh too?

CONFESSIONS ON A 21 YEAR OLD BYU COED

1. Sometimes when nobody is around, I sneak extra treats because if nobody else sees it, the calories don't count.

2. I think the Spice Girls are the best band ever to be in existence. Ever. I could listen to them everyday, all day.

3. The person whose facebook/blog I stalk the most is probably my own.

4. I like to be right about everything. But sometimes I am wrong, and I know it, but I won't admit to it because I like being right so much.

5. Sometimes when I see people I don't want to talk to I pretend to be on my cell phone and pretend I never saw them.

6. I have gotten so many parking and traffic tickets I have literally lost count. But I still think I am a better driver than most of my friends.

7. I am not engaged, but I buy wedding magazines all the time. I just can't get enough of the pretty dresses and flowers and cakes and rings and....

8. I am spoiled. I can stand in front of my closet full of clothes and still have nothing to wear. Put me and ANY store and I WILL find something I absolutely need. Give me a choice between two things, and I will magically like the more expensive thing without even knowing the price.

9. I think I was a really cute baby.

10. Sometimes when I go to the gym, I cheat and stop running before my mile is officially over.

11. I think this was a fun idea for a blog posting, and I am proud of myself for coming up with it.

12. I really do have the best family and friends ever. I thank my Heavenly Father for them every night without fail. LOVE YOU ALL!

If you haven't seen Alice in Wonderland yet, I highly recommend it! I saw it in 3D and that made it even cooler! My favorite character was the Queen of Hearts, she was so great!

MY THOUGHTS...

"Free Hugs"

People at BYU are weird. I see examples of this everyday. Why do they do these odd things that make me look at them like this...

The latest odd person I saw was when I was walking in front of the JFSB and I noticed some girl standing in the middle of the area with a sign. She looked like one of those people at the airport waiting to pick someone up. Then some other girl ran up and gave her a BIG hug and I thought "huh, that must be the name on the sign." Then i read the sign and it just said "Free Hugs" Who has time during finals week to think, "I'm gonna go stand outside in the 15 degree weather and see how many people are as weird as i am to hug a complete stranger"? I simply walked past trying to not make eye contact, hoping she would not attack me with hugs.

"Dino Museum"

For my physical science class we had the assignment to go to BYU's earth science museum. I think museum as to wrong word to describe it, however. It's more like some trailer-looking building in the parking lot across the street from the stadium. But, call me a loser if you want, I thought it was pretty awesome! They had a bunch of big fossils and little ones. They had triceritops, long-necks, some sloth thing, and others! Unfortunately I didn't get to stay long because they were closing and I needed to turn in my homework for it. Maybe I'll have to go again some day!

I don't know what it is about this man, but for some reason every movie I make my roommate watch with me has him in it! Moulin Rouge, Angels & Demons, Down With Love, and it goes on... Maybe it's his charming good looks, or his angelic voice, or his irresistible accent. Who knows...but whatever it is, I seem to be drawn to his movies!
